This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use sendthemsome.love (the "Service"). It also explains your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and related laws.

  • Card generation: Please do not include sensitive personal data in your inputs.
  • Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to understand traffic and improve performance.
  • Payments: Advertising purchases are processed by Polar (we do not store card details).
  • Cookies: We do not intentionally use tracking cookies for marketing. Third-party providers may use cookies during checkout.

3) What data we process

3.1 Data you provide

  • Messages you send us: If you email support, we process your email address and the contents of your message.
  • Advertising submissions: If you submit an Ad for review, we process the creative (image/text), destination link, and any contact/billing information required for the purchase (handled primarily by Polar).
  • Card inputs (if applicable): Text you enter to generate a card may be processed to render the card. Do not submit sensitive personal data (e.g., IDs, passwords, payment details, medical data).

3.2 Data collected automatically

  • Basic technical data: When you access the Service, our hosting and security systems may process information such as IP address, device/browser type, request timestamps, requested pages, and error logs.
  • Analytics data (Vercel Analytics): We use Vercel Analytics to understand usage and performance (e.g., page views, referrers, broad device/browser info, performance metrics). The exact fields depend on your environment and Vercel configuration.

4) Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Article 6)

We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:

  • To provide and secure the Service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in operating a safe, reliable service; and where necessary Art. 6(1)(b) — contract/performance of service).
  • To review and display Ads (Art. 6(1)(b) — contract with advertisers; and Art. 6(1)(f) — brand safety and platform integrity).
  • To process payments, VAT, invoices/receipts (Art. 6(1)(b) — contract; Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligations, e.g. tax/accounting rules).
  • To analyze usage and improve performance via Vercel Analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests in improving the Service). If local law requires consent for certain tracking, we will adjust our setup and/or request consent.
  • To respond to support requests (Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f), depending on context).

5) Cookies and similar technologies

The Service is designed to work without requiring marketing tracking cookies. We use Vercel Analytics for usage measurement and performance insights.

Checkout cookies: If you purchase advertising, you may be redirected to Polar's checkout. Polar may use cookies or similar technologies on its own domain to process payments, prevent fraud, and provide invoices/receipts.

6) Sharing data with third parties

We share personal data only when necessary to operate the Service:

  • Vercel (hosting + analytics): We use Vercel to host the Service and to run Vercel Analytics. Vercel may process technical and analytics data on our behalf.
  • Polar (payments): Polar processes payments for advertising purchases and may process billing information, payment details, VAT details, invoices/receipts, and fraud-prevention data. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights and users.

7) International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and/or other lawful transfer mechanisms provided by GDPR.

8) Data retention

  • Technical logs: Retained for as long as necessary for security, debugging, and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Support emails: Retained as needed to handle your request and for record-keeping, then deleted when no longer needed.
  • Advertising transactions: Purchase records/invoices may be retained as required by tax and accounting laws.
  • Analytics: Retention depends on Vercel's settings and platform behavior; we use it to understand aggregated usage and improve the Service.

9) Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA/UK (and in many other jurisdictions), you may have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") in certain cases;

10) Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. Since we are based in Berlin, Germany, the Berlin supervisory authority may be relevant.

11) Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Service and the data we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13) Third-party links

Ads and user-shared cards may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing personal data.

14) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
